USF Campus Recycling

The Recycling Bin Signage Project at the University of South Florida is a project that is led by Robin Rives, a graduate student in the School of Geoscience, funded by the USF Student Green Energy Fund.

The Campus Food Waste Recovery Project at the University of South Florida is a USF Student Green Energy Funded project that is led by an interdisciplinary group of students and guided by faculty and staff from multiple colleges and departments at USF.

The Mission

The goal was to create universal signage for all recycling bins on campus and make students aware of proper recycling procedures. To do this, we created the logo!

To promote recycling, we created signage to place on or near the recycling bins on USF’s Tampa campus.

USF Campus Food Waste Recovery

The client's main focus for this project was to educate students on how they can reduce their food waste behaviors through flyers hung in dining halls and other relevant on-campus locations.

Our goal was to encourage students to waste less food by creating a campaign that clearly and concisely displays key talking points on how this can be accomplished.
